Data used here is not cohort data, but is grouped visually and analytically to assume the fastest path to public sector, that is, working in SERUMS directly after graduating, and entering MINSA directly after SERUMS. The high uptake of physicians is a result of having more SERUMS health professionals than medical school graduates from the preceding year, which occurred due to increased demand for starting SERUMS and the backlog of graduates who were unable to obtain positions in previous years
