1. Jurisdictional (legislative/regulatory)

Established on government practice acts that comprise regulations to safeguard patient safety [10, 30,31,32]

2. Professional (the profession)

Founded in a distinctive body of evidence, supported by educational preparation, and associated with a current or developing practice framework [30, 33, 34]

3. Personal (individual practitioner)

Focused on activities that an individual health care practitioner is educated and trained for, and that they can implement in a way that does not present any threat to the public or themselves [12, 17, 30, 33]
